When I picked my husband up from a recent late night flight, we both had Shenanigan's on our minds. The pub, that is! It is conveniently located between the airport and where we live and is open late, so it fit the bill.
We have been to Shenanigan's several times under similar circumstances and each time we say we need to come here more often. We have always felt very welcomed from the minute we walk in the door, the service is great, the food is very good and reasonably priced, and they have our favorite beer- Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA! We have been to several English/Irish pubs across the pond over the years and this one makes us long to travel again. We are lucky to have this little gem of a pub here in Reno. -

I've been to Shenanigans twice now (traveling thru Reno for gymnastics events. First time was just because I liked the name and wanted to take pictures of the signs outside the restaurant. Second time was because the food and service were SO amazing the first time, so I had to come back.
Of course the drinks were good and a great variety of beers on tap too.
Burgers are amazing. Breakfast items are tasty. I had "Chef special" off the menu and a SPICY rolled up chicken taquito with a mole sauce came out that still gives me mouthwatering aftershocks. Great stuff.
Oh, yeah. Good coffee too. -

So I found this place because it was the closest one to work and I wanted to watch the Golden Knights game. I called ahead and the bartender was more than accommodating to put it on for me.
I love the English ambience and the dark lighting. I ordered the wings which were the best in town! And I should know I order wings everywhere I go. But not only that the service was amazing and I literally felt like I was in Cheers ..
I guess you can't be a bar that's name shenanigans and these guys did not disappoint! My new favorite bar in Reno! -

Best Cesar salad in town. I recommend the blackened chicken. Aslo they have really good wings. Cooked to the Bone. I recommend the sweet and hot, as well as, the cajun dry rub

Good food -- fish & chips -- but slow service & preference is definitely given to regulars -- or so I figured when waitress called them by name. That's how my first visit went, but the food was good enough to give it another try. Same, but this time there was no apology for 40 min. wait for dinner. So, no chance I'll become a regular.
